Get answers to common questions about IPL Vascular & Pigmented Face Package - Series of 3.
This package includes three IPL treatments scheduled roughly four to six weeks apart. Spacing allows skin to heal and for progressive improvement; most clients notice meaningful changes after the second session and optimal results after the full series.
Most clients experience mild discomfort like snapping or warmth; we use cooling and topical numbing when appropriate. Treatments are well tolerated with minimal pain, and any transient redness or swelling typically subsides within a few hours to a few days.
Expect temporary darkening of pigment, light crusting, and mild redness or swelling. Vascular lesions fade and pigment flakes off over one to two weeks. Apply sun protection and follow aftercare; visible improvements appear progressively after each treatment.
Ideal candidates are individuals with visible facial redness, broken capillaries, sunspots, or uneven pigmentation. Those with darker skin tones may require evaluation; a consultation determines suitability, medical history, and personalized treatment settings.
Results vary by skin type and sun exposure; many clients enjoy months to years of improvement. Maintenance sessions, sun protection, and skincare extend benefits. Periodic follow-up treatments help address new pigmentation or vascular changes as they appear.
Side effects are usually mild and temporary: redness, swelling, crusting, or slight pigmentation changes. Rare complications include blistering or scarring. Pre-treatment consultation, proper settings, and post-care lower risks; report concerns to your provider promptly.
